Our Private Prenatal Class is an engaging 5-6 hour course, conveniently taught in either one day or two shorter days, providing you with comprehensive information tailored to your specific needs, individual questions and concerns. You pick the topics that you would like to cover in this class, and we will tailor the curriculum to your specifications. This class is arranged around your schedule. A convenient option for anyone with a busy schedule, someone on bedrest, or those not feeling comfortable participating in a group setting. Topics are presented in an interactive and fun private online class using Zoom. This allows you to participate from the comforts of your own home or from whenever you feel most comfortable while having the instructors undivided attention. We can focus on the concerns and questions you may have while allowing you to discuss personal issues at ease. We want you to leave this class feeling empowered, confident, and prepared with tools and information for the upcoming birth and transition into parenthood. Information will be provided for the specific hospital in BC you are planning to deliver at. Homebirth information is also included. We look forward to supporting you through our classes.

More Information About Our Private Classes
All of our classes are taught by experienced Registered Nurses who have additional speciality training in Perinatal Nursing and are Childbirth Educators. All of our instructors are actively working in healthcare facilities across BC and are passionate about working with expectant parents and newborns. We believe that everyone should have access to high-quality and affordable prenatal education.
Our classes are taught using a wide variety of instructional methods including discussions, visual aids, diagrams, demonstrations, videos, birth stories, and hands on practice. For a list of topics discussed in this class, please see the topics image above.
Class Location
Our online classes are offered to anyone in BC. This allows you to participate in our classes from the comforts of your own home or from wherever you feel most comfortable. Specific information will be provided for the hospital you are planning to deliver at. Homebirth information will also be provided.

When Should I Take This Class and When Should I Register?
For a Private Prenatal class, we recommend that you schedule a class between 30-36 weeks.
Our classes can fill up quickly. We recommend that you register for our classes when you are between 20-22 weeks.
Cost
The cost for this class includes the expectant person and a support person. If you have additional people wanting to join you, please contact us for more information.
What Happens After I Register?
One of our instructors will contact you within 24-48 hours after purchasing/registering in a class to arrange a date and time for your private class and to complete a confidential questionnaire so we can tailor this class to your needs. You will also receive an email which will include additional information and resources to prepare you for your upcoming class with us.
Computer Requirements
Our online classes are taught via Zoom. You do not need to have an account with Zoom in order to join our classes, but it is recommended that you download their free app. Basic computer requirements include:
A High-Speed Internet Connection (one that allows you to stream video), Speakers, a Microphone, and a Webcam (our classes are interactive, and we need to be able to see each other)

Rescheduling & Cancelation Policy
Purchasing a class will register you and secure your spot in that class. In case your schedule changes after you have registered, you may switch to a different class up to two weeks before the class start date as long as we have spots available. Please note that requests made within less than two weeks of the class start date cannot be accommodated. Please contact us if you need to reschedule.
Your registration can be canceled up to two weeks before your scheduled classes begin. Please note that there is a $45.00 administration fee to process a cancelation. Cancellations made within less than two weeks of the class start date are non-refundable. Please note that classes cannot be shared and are non-transferable. Should you deliver your baby before classes start, please contact us for details. If you need to cancel your registration, please contact us.
